Reimbursement of 4-H Project Expenses

MATERIALS DUE BY:  JUNE 13th AT 4:00 P.M.

 

APPLICANTS QUALIFY TO APPLY IF THEY:

  1. Are a Summit County Resident, and
  2. Are participating at the Summit County Fair this year, and
  3. Are an active member of a 4-H Club for a minimum of two years (including the current year)

APPLICANTS WILL BE JUDGED ON THE FOLLOWING POINT SYSTEM:
  1. Application = 5 possible points
  2. Interview = 55 possible points

AWARDS:
  • Two Animal Related Project Reimbursements - up to $250
  • Two Non-Animal Project Reimbursements - up to $50

 * Applicants may apply for both a non-animal reimbursement and a non-animal reimbursement BUT they cannot apply for two animal reimbursements and/or two non-animal reimbursements.  Use separate application for each applied for.


 * Winning Recipients will be announced during the 4-H Bake Auction.  Winners will receive award, made payable to the winner, once proof of direct expenses for the current years project have been submitted to the fair office and reviewed.  (Committee reserves the right to interpret direct expense)  Winners can receive up to the alotted amount but can only be reimbursed for the amount of expenses submitted and approved.  Remaining dollars not reimbursed will be returned to the reimbursement/scholarship fund.

 * The project reimbursements are made possible through the proceeds of the bake auction.  We encourage all 4-H'ers to participate in the bake auction.
