- Contest is open to all Summit County youth between the ages of 9 and 19. Designs will be judged by age groups: 9-11 yr olds, 12-15 yr olds, 16-19 yr olds (age as of Jan. 1, 2010)
- Entry must be on 5-1/2 (wide) x 8-1/2 (tall) paper.
- Leave a 1/4" boarder on all four sides. (Boarder is a blank space where there is no design)
- You will submit two copies of your drawing. One copy is the drawing in black and white, (For reproduction purposes we strongly urge the use of an artist pencil, black pen, or at minimum, if using a pencil, be sure to darken lines), the second copy is the same drawing but in color (make a copy of your black and white drawing and then add the color).

- July 27th - Aug 1st
- You Choose the Theme. It must however, be associated with the fair.

- Using a pencil, put your phone number on the back of both drawings in the bottom left corner. Do NOT put your name on the front of thedrawing.
- Fill out the entry form. Put the entry form in an envelope and seal it.
- Put ONLY your phone number and age (as of Jan 1) on the front of the envelope.
- Place the envelope and the designs in a large mailing envelope. Do not fold your design.
- Entry deadline is June 10th at 4:00 p.m. You may either drop off your entry to the fair office on the fairgrounds or you may mail your entry. If you mail your entry, allow enough time so that the entry is received in the office by May 3rd.

- 1st Place in each age group: Rosette (Chance of winning Best of Show)
- 2nd Place in each age group: Rosette
- 3rd Place in each age group: Rosette
- All entries will be displayed during the 2010 Summit County Fair and on our website
- Overall Winner: Best of Show Rosette and $100 savings bond. The winning design will appear in the fair flier and may appear in other publications. The Savings Bond is sponsored by Cathy Cunningham and Elizabeth Hale.
- Participation Ribbons
- All entries will be displayed at the Summit County Fair. Entries are not returned.
