MODIFIED FARM STOCK (Turbo Smoker)           •    Hitch:  Hitch point will be20" high and 18" long.  Must be able to be mechanically locked.  Hitch point must be           easily accessible.   •    Tires:  Maximum size 24.5 x 32 cut tires are allowed.   •    Engines:  Must be stock appearing for make & model.  Head must be OEM agricultural type for that brand engine.           No over head cams allowed.  OEM stock type intake and exhaust manifolds for that series engine.  Turbo exhaust           pattern no longer than 2.750" x 3.5".  No altering of housing to accomodate smaller base.  Compressor shall           measure a maximum 3" in and 3" out.  Maximum size pump for diesel fuel injection is a P pump.  Scatter blankets,           steel flywheels, and side shields MUST BE USED.   •    Fuel:  No alcohol or nitrous oxide allowed.   •    Any other guide lines will be from OSTPA/NTPA Rule Books.

DIVISION 6 RULES    ENGINE 5000rpm limit, using soft-touch type chip, must be in place and functioning.  516c.i. maximum (8 cyl. max permitted within c.i. limits), single engine $500 Teardown fee, to check internal specifications under protest Naturally aspirated, single carburetor (fuel injection prohibited).  No forced induction allowed (no turbo's, blowers, or chargers, etc.) Race gas only, no nitrous oxide or nitromethane Diesel conversions are allowed on race gas Cast iron blocks & cylinder heads required  TRACTOR/CHASSIS & DRIVETRAIN Stock wheelbase for model of tractor, with wide (spread) front end Stock appearing sheetmetal, modified for necessary clearances only Rearend and transmission must appear stock in outward appearance.  Internal modifications are allowed. Front end mounting can be fabricated, must be safe for weight demand Furthest extending length of front end is 12ft maximum from rear axle centerline (including weights) Draw bar must be adjustable with 20 inch maximum height, with 3" diameter hole Draw bar must be minimum 18 inches to hitch point from rear axle centerline Ladder bars are required  TIRES 18.4 X 38 size, cut tires permitted  SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Wheelie bars required and constructed per following specifications; (1) must extend beyond rearmost plane of tire, and support weight of tractor and, (2) skid pads to be 10 inches above ground maximum height Rollbars are required Fenders required OR seat belt Inline cylinder tractors are required to have side shields Kill switch, break-away type; must be accessible and functioning Flywheels must be of a steel construction - no cast iron, no exceptions.  Must be easily viewed for inspection. Clutches must be of aftermarket, or SFI rated Blanket w/ SFI 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, or equivalent rating  OR  Steel shield constructed around flywheel and clutch.  Shield must be made of 1/4" min. thick steel, and minimum width must be equal to width of flywheel + clutch & pressure plate assembly.  Shield can be attached to bellhousing, engine, or chassis   OR Steel bellhousing w/ SFI 6.1, 6.2, or 6.3 rating Deadman type throttle return required Crank driven engine cooling fans must be plastic, or electrically driven Driver must be minimum 16 years of age with a valid driver's license

MODIFIED FARM STOCK (Non Turbo)     6,500# and 7,500# Classes            •    Subject to CURRENT NWPA rules   •    All weights must be securely fastened to tractor.  No weights permitted on seat or deck.  Any weights or external parts           lost while under green flag will be cause for disqualification of the pull.   •    All tractors must be equipped with both rear brakes working.   •    Modified stock classes are open to naturally aspirated engine only.  Tractors must have rubber tires, no dual wheels,           studs or chains with all power being transmitted through rear wheels.  Cut tires are permitted.  All factory positioned           wheels must be in place.   •    No R.P.M. limit.   •    Tractor Motor, transmission and rear end must conform to each other and must be in the stock location.           Block and cylinder head must be O.E.M. for make and model of tractor.   •    Clutch housing, transmission case, rear end housing and axle housing must be O.E.M. for make and model of tractor.   •    Minimum drawbar length is 18" from the center of rear axle to point of hook up.  Drawbar must be stationary in all           directions.  Maximum height is 20" from top of hitching device parallel to the ground.  Any vertical clevis will be           measured to center of loop.  No bracing above center of rear axle.   •    Drawbar must be equipped with steel hitching device with thickness no less than 1" square or 1-1/8" round stock           and no more than 1-1/2" square or round stock.  A 3" wide by 3-1/2" long hole is required or 3" round.  A cross           sectional thickness of 1 square inch minimum must be maintained at any given point of hitch loop.   •    Tire size limit will be 24.5" maximum.   •    Diesel can use any fuel system.  Gasoline powered tractor must use only one updraft carburetor.  Tractors must use           fuel that engine was designed for.  No Alcohol fuel allowed.  Electric fuel pumps are permitted.  Engine must use           O.E.M. manifolds.  No fuel injection of any type, except for diesel engines.  Carburetor flange will be no more than           1" from stock length.  No water injection.  No overhead cams.  All propane tractors should have only one           regulator.   •    All tractros must have all safety equipment, (I.E. side shields from top of block extend 2 inches below center throw of           crankshaft, must be 1/8" steel or aluminum).  Must have fenders, kill switch and return spring on throttle plate.   •    Maximum length from center of rear wheel to forward most portion or tractor is 13'.  Maximum wheel base is not           to exceed 114".   •    Officials may order driver/owner to remove shields for inspection.  The driver/owner will be present at inspection.           A closed inspection will be honored.   •    Power shift and clutch update are okay, if no modifications are made to chassis.  Any tractor in question of being           legal will be ruled on by the rules committee and board of directors.   •    Full face helmets , fire suits and leather shoes are required.    •    Cubic Inch Limit for all makes and models is 680 cubic inches with unlimited rpm.        a.  Engines from 681 to 850 cubic inches will have a 4200 rpm limit.        b.  Engines under 680 cubic inches and under 4200 rpm shall receive a weight varience to be set by the board of directors.   •    A protest rule will be in place for these classes.  A fee (tear down money) of $500.00 cash must be posted by the           protestor(s) at the event.  The burden of proof of the legality of the tractor in question is placed on the vehicle's           owner.   •    Wheelie bar specifications:           a.  Maximum height from the ground 10".           b.  Maximum length 32" from center of axle to back of wheelie bar.           c.  5" square plate on bottom of wheelie bar.           d.  Must not be attached to the hitching devices.           e.  A random check can be made where the tractor is jacked up using the wheelie bar.  The wheelie bar must                   hold the weight of the class the tractor is pulling.    •    Non-cast flywheels are required.  Must have a 3/8" plate around the whole bell housing or a 5 strap blanket required.        Any steel shrouding must be fastened by 3/8" Grade 5 bolts and nuts or better with a maximum spacing of 6 inches.    •    A maximum 1-1/2 inch spacer between the intake manifold and the head will be permitted    •    Special Exceptions:  Allis Chalmers D19 tractors may move the intake flange 2" towards the center.    •    Non-cast structure steel or aluminum from back axle housing to front frame that will support the tractor    •    The Baord of Directors may entertain additional weight variances and the addition of other tractor types to the class.
