  TRUCK AND TRACTOR PULL GENERAL RULES

 

 

   Any driver or crew member incapacitated due to intoxicating agents or using profane language will be asked to leave
          the premises, will not receive any refund(s), and may be turned over to the authorities.
 

   All vehicles will be attended while running.
 

   Driver will have control of vehicle at all times.  Vehicle will be driven, towed, etc. in a safe and responsible manner.
     No Riders!
     All vehicles must have working kill switch & positive return on throttle (deadman)
     All tractors must have wheelie bars.  The wheelie bars must be fixed to a stationary point on the tractor, and must be
          separate from hitch.  The wheelie bar must extend beyond rear most plane of the tire, and support the weight of the
          tractor in its heaviest class.
 

   All vehicles must have seat belt.
 

   All vehicles must have working (dry chemical) fire extinguisher mounted within reach of the driver when seated.
     All drivers must wear a helmet.
     All draw bars will be flat plate, 1" thickness, 3" diameter hole, stationary in all directions.  Must be
          mechanically locked at hitching point.  Hook point must be easily accessible in all directions.
     All pulls will be started with a tight chain.  NO JERKING.
     First puller in each class will be the "test puller" and may elect to try again, one time only.
     All pullers attempting to stop in the first 75 feet of pull may elect to try again, one time only.
     Vehicles must stay in bounds.  Touching of boundary lines will be immediate disqualification (sled may touch lines)
     ANYTHING coming off vehicle during pull will be immediate disqualification.
     Unless specified with each class' rules, all drivers must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from
          parent or guardian, and be asisted by a responsible adult.
     All vehicles will be weighed and inspected before class starts.
     All classes close when first vehicle in class hooks to sled.
     All classes or divisions will follow these general rules, plus any class or division specific rules.
